The Base Road was "slick" looking, The winter lot was full and Jefferson Notch Road is still open. |

I used the bridge at the Cog railway and then followed the bushes up the hill to the "closed" trail. The sign is at the other end |

Baxter had a blast. He loved the warm weather and seeing lots of people and dogs. |

I wore Microspikes all day. Probably could have just bare-booted. Conditions were deep snow drifts, not so deep snow and some rocks showing but not many. Over by Jefferson the rocks were a little more icy. Folks who came up the Ammo Trail said there was enough snow to get a grip and a couple of dogs went that way. It was very warm today and there was barely any wind. Saw lots of people up there, some doing a Presi Traverse and the rest of us "peak-bagging". What a day! |
