Comments
Comments: There is minimal snow from the trailhead all the way up. What there is is packed and accommodates traction well. There are a couple of sections up high with extensive hard ice that require care. We wore microspikes up but switched to crampons for the descent.
We encountered a hiker who had ascended by the Jewell Trail over Washington and he indicated that those trails (Jewell, Gulfside, Crawford) were in good shape, also with light cover.
