Great day- no wind, wore baselayer up and down. I had microspikes on and was fine going up but slipped a couple of times going down, so I have upgraded light traction to traction. Crampons would not be overkill with enough of a snow pack up there on the trail to support. If you only have light traction the trail is absolutely doable, but my own experience left me wishing I had worn my crampons. |
