The Crawford Path up to the summit of Pierce was a sidewalk. Heading to Eisenhower the trail appeared to be less traveled and there were sections of snowdrifts, but that didn't warrant the use of snowshoes. I counted approximately 15 people all day mostly around the Pierce summit. Near the Eisenhower loop the winds were fun and for a short time it was effortless to move up to the summit of Ike. It was a nice bluebird day with 120 miles visibility! |
