Comments
Comments: Trail well packed out, with enough snow cover for a fairly smooth track, and to result in not many spike dulling rocks to avoid--all three of us wore HH spikes the whole hike. A beautiful blue-sky hike day, perhaps my first since the beginning of Dec. Since the trail was easy and fast today, G & D & I were able to put it into auto-pilot and have a nice visit as we hiked along. Surprisingly, we were the only ones going to Garfield today. Hope Franconia Ridge trail between Little Haystack and Flume is in as good a shape later this week.
