 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking lot was not really plowed (off 112) but the snow was only 3-4" deep. I was a little scared of getting stuck as I only have 2WD right now, but, I do have decent studded snow tires. Parking lot was half full at noon when I started. |

Excellent afternoon for this hike! Very cold and windy on top with low vis but I could see the cairns. Forgot my goggles but covered my eyes with my hand. I guess I was the only snowshoer but I was glad I was on them - there was enough snow but only a little bony on the steeps. Unfortunately, not enough snow to butt-slide back down. Anyway, I passed a few people but not the usual crowds. Woods were really pretty!!!!! |
