| Comments: |
Livermore Trail from parking to bridge a few miles up not groomed for XC skiing...local person stated they are waiting for more snow...however it had been used by skiers and fat tire bikers so there was a solid track to microspike..after the bridge, snowshoes needed..kept them on all the way to Middle Tri..after N Tri though trail base was ok for spikes...saw about a dozen hikers split with snowshoes, micros or bareboots..Pine Bend was busy, but powdery..micros safer than snowshoes on the steeps...ice hidden by snow cover could be dangerous.. |
