Packed trail with some new snow on top. Started in microspikes and at height of land entering boreal zone switched to snowshoes for remainder of hike. Only a few rocks and roots showing along the way before Starr King but easy to get around? Pleasant conditions for snowshoes. Some people used microspikes or were bare booting. Fun hike with Tara, and always a pleasure to see Ed, Bill and Diane along the way! |
