Well-packed trail the entire way with only a few inches of snow. No ice to speak of, lots of exposed rock. Did the entire thing in micros, but could have bare booted it. Anything more would have been complete overkill and difficult with the rocks. 20F at the junction, blowing at around 25-30mph at the summit with very limited visibility. Counted 97 people on the trail, a new New Year's Day record for me. Shout out to Ben and Sarah. |
