Pleasant day below treeline. Soft, slushy snow covered most ice and rocks underneath. Too bony for snowshoes. Ledges below summit were icy. Traction helpful but some summited without. Wind and thick cloud cover as forecasted above treeline. Nice short hike on New Years Eve. |
