Generally 3-5 inches of snow through out the hike. Trails are somewhat packed but mostly loose. Made it harder work to get from point to point. I bare booted all day and didn't feel any form of traction would have been that helpful. Another 6 to 12 inches of snow and the snow shoes will once again be our friends! Mild temps and low wind for most of the day but between South and Middle big wind and short white outs. 8/48 ssw |
