Crossings are starting to build up snow over the rocks, and not-yet-safe layers of ice in between. Hoppable but light traction recommended. |

No issues - had a dog with us and saw another on the trail. |

| Comments: |
About 3" of snow on the road, 4-6" up high. Not quite enough yet to require snowshoes, as still plenty of rocks sticking up through the snow, and you can't see what you're stepping on. Light traction highly recommended, and good, sharp light traction for the final pitch on the ridge trail. Summit ledges were covered with a crunchy textured rime-like coating. |
