Comments
Comments: Fun hike in fresh snow from Tuesday's storm, between six to eight inches. We wore our snowshoes which were great on the lower and upper sections of the hike. The middle part had some rocks hiding under the snow, about another half foot is needed to bury the annoying rocks completely. Short steep burst just below the summit had glaze ice under the snow making for very slick footing. A nice morning on Moriah with Whitney, Kyle, Tony and Duke. There were about a dozen people heading up on our way out, almost all in boots or light traction, so snowshoes aren't needed but they felt good to strap on and made for a less tiring hike. Nice to run into Ed Hawkins again :)
