Rocks were ice covered, so stepping in the water was more stable than rock hopping, just watch the depth. |

One blowdown on the Mt. Kinsman trail on the way up, but it was removed by the time we returned. Thanks for that! |

The Mt. Kinsman trail was easy going until the last climb to the ridge, which included many ice floes. The Kinsman Ridge Trail has significant ice floes from the intersection to the summit of N. Kinsman (we did not continue further). Crampons would not have been overkill on this section, but microspikes were OK; just barely. |
