Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossing on the Dicey's Mill Trail of Wonalancet River before Tom Higgins trail is interesting. 2 trees are across the water, most of us went over the westernmost which was a foot or tow above the water, one of us decided it was easier to rockhop and get the boots wet.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of cleared blowdowns on the Rollins Trail after Kate Sleeper
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: We had a westie with us, only a few places did we have to lift him up, mostly the ledges on Blueberry Ledge above the Tom Higgins Trail to Whiteface. He found lots of water to drink!
Bugs
Bugs: none
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: We lost an orange bandana with "Zion National Park" on it. Someone found it, but we didn't realize we lost it until after the hikers that found it came by us. Please e-mail me if you have it.

Comments
Comments: Great winter hike for the day after Xmas. Little bit of ice in the AM (8:30 start)on the Blueberry Ledge Trail, ledges were dry and the views over to Chororua. Lunch on topmost eastern facing ledges. Rollins Trail little bit muddy after Kate Sleeper. Met 6-8 other hikers on loop. Did some exploring on the way to Passaconaway (old Camp Rich). Some of us did the West Loop to Passaconaway just to be different, much steeper than the East Loop! Long day, last 1-1/2 hours in the dark with headlamps got out a 5:30 PM. Spent too much time enjoying the sun on the ledges!
