Comments
Comments: Great late spring hike in late December. Trails are ice free until just below the Kinsman Ridge trail. Then some patches of ice but more rock than ice. KRT had significant ice in places but it was easily avoided for the most part. I bare booted all day as did several others while some used micro spikes. Nice to meet Andy and Jerry along the KRT. You guys inspire me! Expect trails will wake up to new conditions. Is the heat wave over? Absolutely gorgeous day out.5/48ssw
