Comments
Comments: Where is the snow??? The trail had ice in the wet sections, Thick ice in the steep sections. I put on microspikes but quickly changed to crampons to make things easier. I decided to come down the same way and the icy section was very scary even with crampons on. There were quite a few people there who made it up and down with just microspikes. The Crawford Path has areas of ice and snow and areas of bare rock so you have to decide either pick the rocks around the ice or wear the microspikes and walk on rocks. No snow!! Beautiful day!!!
