| Water Crossing Notes: |
Several smaller crossings either bridged or easily rock hopped. The larger one in the relocation section I did using a nicely placed branch and poles for balance. Streams running quite high. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One leaner about 3 miles up the Gale River Tr. will be a pain with a couple feet of snow. |

| Comments: |
Afternoon hike made up for the wet, viewless morning. Clearing and nice views all afternoon. Hardly any ice on trails much to my surprise. A few minor spots on Frost Tr. and Garfield Ridge but easily maneuvered around and traction not used again. T-shirt for entire hike and what a pleasant walk out with comfy temps, nice trail and moon trying to peak through from above. No hikers seen. With colder temps there will be more ice but I don't believe trails will be too bad here unless more rain/snow. |
