 | Water Crossing Notes: |
With low water levels the numerous water crossings were easy. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
On the flat section of the Flume Slide Trail the vegetation is encroaching in places -- a little trimming would be appreciated by hikers here. |

Few of those nasty critters today, even with low wind. |

 | Comments: |
Even in today's cool/dry weather the upper section of the Flume Slide Trail is every bit as treacherous as described in the AMC Guide: steep, slippery and precarious footing.
Except for a few muddy or slippery-rock sections, most of the three trails were dry. |
