Comments
Comments: Trail was in great shape. Left the parking lot in the dark and arrived at the lower ledges just as the sun gained strength. The south ledges on Whiteface were mostly clear or easily avoided until the steepest which was a bit tricky b/c handholds were iced in. Managed to crawl up safely. The rest to the trip was to be expected - spotty ice, but mostly clear. Spikes on and off all day. Nothing link a mid-November hike at the end of December.
