| Comments: |
Microspikes were perfect for this trip. There are some pretty significant stretches of ice along the Crawford path past the Mizpah springs cutoff below the Pierce summit. Between Pierce and Eisenhower there were plenty of stretches of dry trail/rock with sections of ice - probably good to leave the spikes on, but you'll be walking on rock a lot. Webster cliff and Webster-Jackson trail were icy near the summit, and slippery rock/snow down lower. |
