Second half of base road was unplowed but firm packed and only a few inches accumulation. Mostly empty lot. |

Water is still flowing but crossings are easy |

iPhone 6. Black case. Was in my back pocket before I decided to slide down on my rear. Probably will be there until Spring. |

| Comments: |
Had to turn back just after treeline due to very significant ice. Was cold enough that ice was hard up higher. Being solo with just microspikes was too much risk for me. Others in spikes were able to manage up and down using vegetation but everyone agreed crampons would be appropriate for the icy bits. |
