The three brook crossings on the lower portion of the Mt. Kinsman Trail are all easily rock-hopped. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
New section at bottom of Mt. Kinsman Trail now blazed. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Water wasn't an issue today but it can be on this route: Water from the third brook crossing all the way to South Kinsman peak can be unreliable during dry spells. Also, the scrambles on the ascent of the North Kinsman cone could pose problems for short-legged dogs. |

A very few black flies on the lower portion of the Mt. Kinsman Trail. |

This afternoon I've got to tend to some chores and errands, so this morning/early afternoon hike up two favorite peaks with my beloved dogs was just the ticket. Photos to come. |
