I was first to park roadside at 7:30AM and there were 2 other vehicles there at 2PM. |

I counted 15 crossings (to occupy my mind) that are all easy rock hops. |

There are 2 trees across the trail that are walk around and the usual step over blowdowns. |

The trail condition listed above is the only one that fits - dry trail. no leaves, no mud it's all frozen, no snow and just a little bit of ice that can be bypassed. Wow and it's December 19th. A very good hike to these peaks today with temps from 20 to 35, mostly cloudy sky with some snow flurries and very windy at times. Saw 5 hikers as I was heading back from South Peak. I carried light traction but did not need it, poles were helpful though. |
