Comments
Comments: Started and finished by headlamp. Could've worn trail runners today. Sporadic ice began at hairpin turn on Bondcliff Trail and stayed sporadic until just before Bond. Dusting of new snow above ~3000 ft. Hillary Step was icy on the outbound and required care, not so icy on return 2+ hours later. Fresh bunny and fox tracks around Bond. :) Very icy from Bond to West Bond Spur. Beautiful intermittent undercast from all summits and an interesting 'refractive light arc' on Bondcliff. No real wind. Just a gorgeous late fall day.
