| Comments: |
There are about 2 inches of snow on the trail at the beginning. More and more we climb the snow becomes thicker. The trail is a mixture of snow and ice. Arrived at ¾ of the ascended to the hut "Lakes of the Clouds", the snow reached 6-8pouces thick and there and more ice. We decided to put our Stabilicers for more security and because it is easier with it. Between the hut and the summit of Monroe there were places with 24 inches of snow.
