Comments
Comments: Traction is advisable on Carter-Moriah Trail from just uphill of the Pulpit Rock view side trail to Zeta Pass. Mt Hight is bare rock. Minimal snow layer (< 1") on Carter Dome and its north slope. Steep section of Carter-Moriah below Pulpit Rock view side trail is essentially free of ice. Gray Jay at summit of Carter Dome. Great views from Mt Hight. The steep descent from Mt Hight is icy but the microspikes proved to be sufficient traction.
