Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All five major crossings were easily stepped over today by both man and beast.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Several trees down along the Rocky Branch and Isolation Trails. None had branches and some looked like hey had been there for a while. Perhaps to add to the "wilderness experience". Lots of muddy spots and the majority of the hike is a long rock hop.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Lots of water for dogs to drink and mud to play in. If your dog likes to swim this would be a good trip.
Bugs
Bugs: None to speak of.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Saw a green handkerchief hanging from a branch on the way up but it was gone on the way down.

Comments
Comments: We made great time, 5 hr 50 min round trip! There was nothing steep on this hike, just alot of miles stepping on rocks and roots. Both bushwhacks look to have a well defined tread way wearing in. The first one on Rocky Branch Tr looks to start at the FPA sign .25 miles before the first crossing.
