Spiked up 3 1/2 Miles from trail head & kept them on till Polecat.
Long ice flows on the ridge but the warm temp softened the ice enough
So that even our dull spikes worked well. When temperatures drop back below freezing
sharp spikes will be a must!
No hassles from ski patrol on our descent.
