Comments: Today’s adventure brought us back to Mount Osceola to update the video for our Fire Tower Map. We found a lot of artifacts from the fire tower era and went to both areas that are considered the high points. We also went over to East Osceola just to bag the summit again. We both got a chance to climb up the chimney too even though there was snow and ice we survived it! LOL
The trail conditions were snow covered with some ice. We put Microspikes on the summit of Mount Osceola and left them on the rest of the day. We have since heard that Tripoli Road closed for the season 2 days after we may this hike.
