Comments
Comments: Awesome day. Probably could have gone anywhere but I wanted to avoid the longer road walk later. Met 5 other hikers and a hunter. I think this was the last day of hunting season. Two folks I met just below the hut raved about how nice it was sitting on the porch of the hut. It was everything they said it was and then some! I ended up hanging out in the sun instead of heading up to South Twin. Nice to walk out with a younger hiker that had just done the Twins for the first time. His description of the day reminded me of the first time I stood on South Twin and why we all do this.
