Got a much later start than intended, so opted for Flume via Osseo. Trace snow below ladders, packed 2-3 inches on ladders to dodge, then snow/slush/light ice to summit. Barebooted up, wore microspikes on descent to just below ladders. 6 hours round trip. Out just as it got dark. Didn't see another soul all day except one hiker heading out past me on the Lincoln Woods Trail in the morning (cough, 10:30 am) |
