| Comments: |
Went all the way to summit of Osceola after missing the abandoned trail and then decided to scab across toward the col hoping to intersect with abandoned trail. We were successful and then followed this trail to the col and then from here we followed herd paths to both summits. Herd paths were fairly easy going in open woods, the only deviation was due to a number of blowdowns and dropoffs causing us to change course and then rejoin the herd path. Did not find any registers at either peak but we did find the handles bolted to the tree at the high points that canisters would normally be attached to. Wonderful day out with Karen and Gordon. |
