| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Zealand Road was still open this day although the snow was coming down at a good rate. Happy for my Subie and snow tires |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Wet/Sticky |

| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
The two stream crossings were easy rock hops. Poles came in handy. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There is a leaner about halfway up which will become annoying with a couple feet of snow. Otherwise trail is in great shape. |

| Comments: |
This was a quick early afternoon hike on a wet day, w/rain shell worn the entire time. Snowfall was constant, w/3-4 inches accumulation on the trail and road. Blustery on the summit; we did not linger. Fresh snow obscured a few icy spots, but we opted to keep the Microspikes in the packs today. |
