What a great day! Cloud cover was at about 3500' so we had great views on the ridge and summit. The sky was more clear towards the north. I can hardly believe i was thinking about turning back towards home on the drive up through an hour of rain. The views were so cool--like seeing a seascape on top of a mountain. I will definitely pay more attention to the height of the cloud ceiling on future hikes. All this AND snow dusting on the way down the Skook! What a great day! |
