Comments
Comments: Some ice started to appear on the trail about 2 miles in however these spots are intermittent and brief. I put on an older set of Microspikes in the angled slab area expecting more of the same but took them off soon after. Late morning melting made these areas a bit slicker on return. No issues in the col. Take the spikes and make your own decision.

Ma Nature threw a curve ball today as the predicted clearing never happened so the day was spent in the clouds and fog. Despite quite a few folks on the trails I actually had both peaks to myself for a bit.
