Comments: I saw several folks heading up without traction and all I can say is I wouldn't have done it. There were some significant ice flows to cross. I think the only way to make it without traction would be to go off trail and/or make heavy use of trees to pull your way up. The wind was strong at the top, but not too bad, especially considering the relatively high temps today.
