| Comments: |
trail is underused and at this time of year with all the leaves down, discerning a foot bed takes some skill. the middle portion of mccrillis is stream-like and easily followed, but the water peters out when it starts to climb. we carried spikes but didn't put them on. all icy spots were easily stepped around. ice covered tree branches chimed in the wind, but the ledges themselves were dry and bare. a great day out with CRT...it always is! |
