 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Gates on Carriage Road are closed for the season so we parked at the lower lot before the first gate. We were the first there at about 8 AM, another car arrived shortly thereafter. When we got back the lot was full with 3 cars and a couple were parked roadside. |

Very minor. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails in nice condition. Some black ice on some ledges, that only caused me to go down once. There is a spruce blowdown on the Winter Short Cut, can be ducked under if you go very slightly off-trail. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
We saw about 5, some leashed, some not. Unfortunately, the unleashed ones were not the best behaved ones. |

 | Comments: |
Nice trek to the three named summits as well as the Piper plane crash on Belknap Mtn. The spill on the ice I took was on the herd path to the crash site. No damage. Looks like they are starting to play with the snow making equipment at the bottom of the Gunstock ski area. A good hike with Lone Wolf. |
