 | Comments: |
There were icy ledges above Breadtray Ridge making for tricky footing. Used microspikes on descent from Mt Osceola until reaching lower elevations where most of the ice was melted. I elected to use the bypass as the chimney had some ice on the rocks. Lots of hikers on the trail today both from Tripoli Road and the Kancamagus Highway. Nice views especially from the north outlook near Mt Osceola's summit. Quite a few hikers got a late start today with many vehicles in the lot at 4:00PM (just before sunset). |
