| Comments: |
Winds much calmer than reported across the notch and other locations. Never felt cold. Dry, leaf covered trail down low. Minimal snow. Ice on trail increasing about 1/2 mile above Bald Knob Spur. I used microspikes from Kinsman Ridge jct. out to summits and until back to Bald Knob jct.. Most seen on ridge had traction but some were getting by without. Congrats to Emerel on finishing up November and to couple from Mass. with one working on 48 and other finishing on South Kinsman 50 years after first summit in 1965. |
