Comments
Comments: nice taste of winter day out. Started getting some snow cover..2-3 inches below the ladders where some put on spikes. Snow depths never really increased and were consistent over the ridge. Very windy along final ascent to flume..temps 20"s wind 30-40's blew us around a bit. Ran into large 25 person group at Flume slide jct. Almost calm headed over to Liberty and even on the summit it wasn't bad and we hung out a bit. Descent tedious in places with not enough snow really help with rocks but once down to the hardwoods we made much better time on a softer leafy trail. Thanks Jeff and Karine for a nice taste of winter hike and a fine day out
