Snow is covering up loose leaves nicely, but hiding roots and other hazards |

Still plenty of running streams, not enough powder to be concerned about off-trail issues |

| Comments: |
Summit can still be reached w/o microspikes, but especially Gorge Brook would be more enjoyable with light traction. Snow cover consistent from trailhead to top, few drifts (1-2 feet) forming on summit, the rest is dusting to an inch, still loose powder, in the process of being packed down. Almost all muddy patches have frozen solid, ice only a hazard in a few spots. |
