Comments
Comments: Lots of water on Crawford Path. Many stretches of running water in stretch between Mizpah Cut-Off and Mt Pierce. Puddles and mud in low areas between Mt Pierce and Mt Eisenhower. Loop trails over Eisenhower and Monroe in good condition. The south terminus of Franklin not obvious in cloudy conditions. The north terminus was obvious. Cairns were effective in finding route in the low clouds. Rock wall built on summit of Mt Pierce. Not sure if wall to delineate footway or a barrier to discourage walking on summit ledges. Talked with USFS employee who had replaced a trail sign on Eisenhower. Mostly no views today.
