Comments
Comments: It was cold with high winds on the ridge, but we were well sheltered except at the two summits. Above, say, 2500' there was 1 to 3 inches of mostly new snow offering good traction and little ice. I wore my old stabilicers, which were perfect. Many hikers went with micro spikes, but some also bare booted. We spotted a car below Liberty Springs, so we were able to enjoy this thru hike for Flume and Liberty. Much thanks to Steve (Spot) and Anne L. for a great day out in the Whites.
