Turned out to be a perfect afternoon hike. Occasional light misting but otherwise dry. Started at noon and hiked up in shorts and a t shirt. Head lamping out was perfect. Right by the reroute on Lincoln Woods on the way out I saw a pair of glowing eyes. Right at that moment my mp3 player quit. Alien abduction? Turned out to be a very large fox. It ran into the woods a short ways then sat down and watched me go by. Great day out. |
