Trail Maintenance Notes: an amazing amount of cutting has these trails in good shape as to blowdowns..Mount Tom Spur very muddy and brushy..some recent brushing noted

Dog-Related Notes: dog friendly trail except for Cora, the unleashed barking dog who harrassed many and wouldn't listen to owner screaming at her..ah the wilderness..all other dogs friendly

Comments: lots of mud in places ..ran into a group with a young lady who was struggling a bit but with a little encouragment and some shot blox she got down okay..great chat with some lovely librarians made the walk out on Avalon a breeze..cascades were running and worth the side trip
