Abundance of leaves lower down made trails difficult to follow at times. Blue blazes were scarce and often faded. |

Going up Dicey's Mill trail, I met Steve who was raking the water bars free of leaves. That made it easier to follow the trail. Thank you Steve! I met only a few others all day. There was a couple who had started at the Kancamagus trailhead and went over the Trypyramids. I met them at the summit of Passaconaway and they were headed to Chocorua. The view .3 miles down from the summit was inspiring. |
