We hiked this trail yesterday and got to experience the 30+ blow downs that littered the trail. As the trail adopters for this trail we couldn't let them stay so we changed plans for Sunday, went to Walmart in Gorham to buy some tools, and went and removed 26 of the 34. The remaining eight are pretty thick (18" diameter) and will need more tool than we had. We did prune them and clean them up so its easy to get by them. |

Lost my leather work gloves somewhere between the rock lookout and the trailhead. |

We hiked up to the summit on Saturday and besides the blow downs there were no issues. We returned today to remove the blow downs since we weren't able to do it yesterday. |
