Ran into some significant ice for about a half mile stretch, starting at around 3,000 feet. It was generally avoidable, but required care. Did not use traction, but thought about it. Skies were crystal clear with essentially no wind, including on the summit tower. First time I ever had views hiking Cannon and they were great! |
